“She’d thrive if she just spoke up a bit more.” Words my parents heard more than once from my teachers. Despite being a natural performer at home, that confidence and creativity wasn’t evident in the classroom. Not until I started taking drama classes. Soon the benefits of those lessons started to filter into the rest of my life and everything became easier. And they still stand to me to this day when leading teams, running meetings and managing large projects for multinational organisations.
I have a Diploma from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama and a BA in English and Drama & Theatre Studies from University College Cork. Complimenting this, I hold a Teaching Diploma from Dublin School of English and a Diploma in Communications from The Public Relations Institute of Ireland. My experience extends globally, as I’ve trained and taught across Ireland and in Australia, including studying under some of the world’s top improvisers from Second City and those specializing in the Keith Johnstone method.
