Explorers (6 – 8 year olds)

Mondays 4pm-5pm

Welcome to our Explorers class, where we ignite the spark of imagination in our youngest performers! This class is all about embracing creativity through participation, fun, and building confidence in self-expression. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe to discover their unique voice and explore the wonderful world of drama.

Our hands-on approach ensures every child is actively engaged in the process. We use a variety of imaginative drama games, physical warm-ups, and collaborative storytelling to bring ideas to life. From becoming brave adventurers on a quest to transforming into a mischievous animal, students learn by doing, playing, and creating together.

By giving them the freedom to build self-confidence, we empower our Explorers to take creative risks without pressure. There are no wrong answers, only new discoveries! As they learn to express themselves through movement, sound, and dialogue, they’ll also develop crucial life skills such as listening, cooperation, and empathy. This class is the perfect foundation for a lifelong love of storytelling and performance.

About The Story Studio

The Story Studio isn’t your traditional drama school. We don’t focus on a polished end of term performance, nor will there be any exams. Instead your child will be ‘on stage’ in every class.
