Navigators (9-12 year olds)

Mondays 5pm-6pm

Welcome to our Navigators class, where the adventure continues and students are ready to chart their own creative course! This class is designed for 9-12 year olds who are eager to move into deeper imaginative play and into the exciting world of performance and structured storytelling.

Our Navigators class focuses on developing individual creativity within a strong ensemble. We challenge students to think critically and creatively, encouraging them to take bold risks with their character choices and ideas. Through focused exercises in improvisation, scene study, and collaborative playwriting, students will learn to problem-solve together and build a cohesive narrative.

By delving into the nuances of character development, vocal expression, and physical presence, students discover their unique voice as storytellers and performers. This class provides the tools they need to communicate effectively, empathize with different perspectives, and confidently step into the spotlight. It’s the perfect place for young people who are passionate about drama and ready to take their skills to the next level!

About The Story Studio

The Story Studio isn’t your traditional drama school. We don’t focus on a polished end of term performance, nor will there be any exams. Instead your child will be ‘on stage’ in every class.
